Go Metro to celebrate Halloween early at ScareLA and save 10% on tickets and T-shirts!

Who said Halloween has to be celebrated in October? This weekend, Pasadena will draw large crowds to see the scariest ghouls and goblins for the ultimate summer Halloween event, ScareLA.

The two-day convention was created in 2012 for fans who want to celebrate the holiday year-round. Since then, it’s become a summer sensation in L.A. previewing the latest horror films, haunted houses and costumes for the upcoming scare season. Join thousands of fans, if you dare, this Saturday and Sunday for DIY workshops, monster makeup tutorials and industry panels featuring iconic horror stars and experts.

Want the spookiest looking house on the block this year? Check out the SoCal Valley Haunters Tombstone workshop and learn how to craft custom tombstones to display in your yard.

For those who like to dance, The Bloody Ballroom is Saturday night at 9 p.m. And of course, there will be a costume contest, so be sure to plan your outfit! Socal’s top theme parks such as Universal Studio’s Hollywood Horror Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm and Six Flags Fright Fest have also been known to unveil their Halloween attractions at ScareLA.

To get to the Pasadena Convention Center, take the Metro Gold Line to Memorial Park or Del Mar Station. As a bonus, Metro riders can save 10% on ScareLA tickets or t-shirts by showing a valid TAP card at the box office or when purchasing tickets online!
